17 Siguang Ri From Cho Oyu Intermediate Camp Early Morning  [17 of 22]

I enjoyed the mountain panorama after completing the drive from Chinese Base Camp (4908m) to Cho Oyu Intermediate Camp (5434m). Siguang Ri (7309m) is in the centre of the photo with its long ridge coming down to the right, seen from Cho Oyu Intermediate Camp. Siguang Ri was first climbed on April 21, 1989 by a Japanese expedition with Takashi Okuda and Takashi Miki reaching the summit. The next day Hideo Takebe, Nobuo Yagi, Hideo Oka, and Tatsuya Ogata also reached the summit.
